With Lineo's new slogan
"The embedded Linux software company"
(heck for $37 million in funding I could pick my future
direction clearly too <g>) comes their Linux browser.
It requires a "real modem" <g> but how will it compare
with the Arachne Linux browser (and how much of it is
still using the original Arachne content that Michael
wrote for WebSpyder for? ;) Containing it's own
embedded Linux OS sounds a bit like the direction that
QNX has taken.
It does have some Javascript support (v1.2), a bit heavy
on memory requirement, and has some Secure webpage support.
Arachne for Linux will hopefully not need a P133 with 6mb
of RAM (18mb suggested) <g>.
