Dear Glen:
I am currently using a {for-pay} ISP on a limited basis for
Arachne. Though I am
capable of using a Windows style browser, I much prefer the Dos web
browser. Java-stuff or
not, I will get the job done with Arachne {I think!] Maybe I'm still a
little shaky on this stuff like
editing web pages and designing graphics with DOS. My machine is just
above a 386.
I can see the real advantage to using Arachne in the case of a
"virus attack" like the
infamous LOVE BUG. Arachne is flexible enough to use the internet
without becoming easily
infected by it. My present desire is to accept only "ASCII-2" text
into my system.
How do you sign on to this "Freeweb"? As far as I know they do
not have local access
number in my area.
Yours,
Thomas/Tom
