First of all PLEASE don't mention Netscape and Internet Exploder in the
same sentence !!
Second ... how should NS cheat ??
I entered the URL, hit enter, and immediately started my clock.
When the Logoanimation stopped, I stopped my watch, and that's it ...
there is no place for lies here :)))

This probably is, because you ARE in the US, and the site also is there ...
But Arachne was on the same computer and the same connection at nearly the
same time (maybe 1 minute later) 7 times slower than NS !!!
(both with clean caches .... nturally)

???
You say, that the page total bytes is 97.887 let's say 100.000
this is less than 100 KB

On my connection (let's say on half speed -> 16 KB/s) this would take ca. 7
sec. raw download time. (let's say 10 seconds ..)
Add another 7 seconds for the connection making (there are many small
images), and 2 seconds for page rendering ....

voila ... so what is not likely ???

And where should Netscape lie ??
