As it is right now, the connection is closed after each file.
With "keep alive", the connection would not be closed until all files
have been D/Led.

The max # of files you'll end-up-with is 256*3=768
(plus an indeterminate number of orphaned .JPs)<g>
Why 256*3???... You might ask.
The cache is limited to 256 entries.
Each of the 256 D/Led file will also have it's corresponding .HTT file.
The 3rd possible file for each would be if all 256 are .jpg or .png files.
In that particular case, 256 .bmp files will also exist.
256 .JPGs + 256 .HTTs + 256 .BMPs = 768 total files in the cache directory.
As soon as you D/L #257, #1 will be deleted.
The only "bug" I've seen so far is that the original .jpg files don't get
deleted automatically.
So, the only reason you'll need to F8 is to get-rid-of any "orphaned" .JPGs
