I'd like to add another thing that is *not* cached in future versions: 
SMTP & POP3.

Right now it can be a big PITA to try to go back to someplace you've
been if there is u/l or d/l of mail intervening.  And since history list
is not complete, often the only way to get back to a page is to start
from scratch if you can't get past something like POP3.
