Hello L.D.:

If you would read my post (you said you did not) you will not find that
I have advocated *requiring* ISPs to control content or technology used.
[Except of course I agree with what you have mentioned within brackets.]
I stated merely that I felt that some ISPs should voluntarily adopt
standards of their own, after the same manner that magazines, newspapers,
and other media do.  If you don't like the standards that would be
imposed by some ISPs, then you are perfectly free to visit the pages
provided by ISPs that do not require such standards.
