Sam don't you read my mails? :/ I did send a mail to this list after
finishing it (that someone kindly forwarded to the freedos list), some week
ago I finally remembered to send a mail to the SURVPC list as well.
The latest version (ca two weeks old) is 1.7 and can be downloaded from
http://bernie.arachne.cz/ctmouse/
This version uses much less memory (29% - or 1.7K as most).
In most cases it uses 4464 (PS/2) or 4928 bytes (com) - you can save ca 200
bytes more if you really need to and/or if you don't need support for a
mouse in textmode (eg. if you only use the mouse in graphical programs such
as Arachne, QPV and games).

BTW: There was also 1.5, 1.6 and 1.6a after Cute Mouse 1.4

In theory I can probably get the com version down more in size by removing
the two other mouse systems that are supported and only leave Microsoft
mouse as an option (of course this would require that I make a new .com
file) - but I doubt anyone will need a few 100 bytes that much (if you
really do need them mail me and I'll see what I can do).
