Hello Michael;
It seems to me that the most common unnecessary problem is the frequent
inability of EPPPD to find the com port that miniterm uses without problem.
As a possible fix I have two suggestions:
1) Remove the "default" possibility for com port base.
Always specify it exactly.
2) Try to do something to change the order in which Miniterm writes these
parameters to PPPDRC.cfg. Write the Base address before the port number
- or REMOVE the port number.
Apparantly EPPPD will work correctly with only the base address, and maybe
it will use that if it finds it first. It has a problem if it finds a "hole"
in the bios comm list if it has to look up the address.
