Thanks for the advice. I don't get any special characters. What I get is

Then it waits for a bit and I get an error message:
PPP link is down, no driver installed.
I take it then that the Dospppd.exe works but the PPP parts does not. I
checked the PPP.log and it says: "PPD status: IP address sent to" Any ideas?
