Jeff,

The phrase,

"* Terminal mode. Press <Alt+P> or <F7> to exit and try PPP (SLIP)" is highly
misleading. It does *not* mean to exit Arachne, but to *exit* terminal mode
and go online.

At this point, I, too, was confused, and not wanting to exit Arachne, I
waited and waited and got the message, "PPP link is down, no driver
installed."

Put the login procedure in your login script and set autologin to "Yes." It
will then work, I am sure.

* Reading configuration file C:\ARACHNE\ARACHNE.CFG
* Initializing modem. Press <Esc> to abort.

* Dialing 111-1111 Press <Esc> to abort.

* Leaving MINITERM and trying SLIP/PPP. Press <Ctrl>+<Pause> to abort.

Then it waits for a bit and I get an error message:
PPP link is down, no driver installed.

I take it then that the Dospppd.exe works but the PPP parts does not. I
checked the PPP.log and it says: "PPD status: IP address sent to" Any ideas?
