It's a list on egroups.  I think the address to subscribe is

Mostly Win9X Free ISPs are discussed, but occassionally a jem that works for all 
systems like Freewwweb and 1Nol are discussed.

That's pretty much the concensus on the FreeNET list too.  One of the moderators that 
also runs a Win3.1 list and uses Linux was pretty upset with them and he is generally 
a pretty easygoing person (at least on list.)

I'm not going to try it either since my local number is gone.  Maybe if I get around 
to it, I will dial up one of the long distance numbers just to see if it works.  If I 
do that I will let you all know.
