But IIRC, that's not an official mime type.

Yep..... just checked it.
RFC 1341 defines the only registered mime/type for .EXE, .COM etc...etc...
as being octet-stream
Plus, putting *anything* with the word "msdos" onto my system rubs me
the wrong way.<vbg>
