My negative comments, and others I'm sure, (although I don't speak for them)
had MUCH more to do with our feelings of how the rest of the world would take
the "art" than our own requirements. We can after all, just stay away from
that page. We know it's there and we don't need it personally, but it is
sort of a globally available comment on the path we have chosen.

The change in style towards mainstream uglyness from niche simplicity is a
little bothersome if it is heralding a similar change in the real product.
If not, then perhaps it is not really necessary to be a "me too". The old
style was more in keeping with the roots of Arachne.
I would never buy equipment of ANY quality from a company that would change
its' name to Agilent.
