Great, but how? I have the tarball in my home directory, untarred it,
found the arachne executable. Changed permissions to "u+s". Ran it, says I
need the right permissions for svga. I am not sure that I want to run it
as root (this machine is directly connected to the net!). Suppose I have
to start reading about Linux svga...

I have a Trident Pro Vidia 9685. System is Redhat 6.2. That should be OK.

Well, for all the old newbies like me, it would be nice to have some
install instructions. Perhaps I will write something when I can get it
working.
