I'm hooked into a dhcp server "as we speak." Do you have everything in
Arachne set up for BOOTP? That's what you need, because DHCP is
backwards compatible with bootp.
I don't use bootp any longer because I have a fixed IP, but to get
started the bootp configuration worked just fine.

P.S. I'm still on 1.61 but I don't think Michael changed anything in the
area of tcp/ip
