Dear Gentlemen, this is to ask for advice regarding problems with Arachne 1.61: The problem is: Having successfully dialled, after the last message (which is "Installed packed driver handler at vector 0x60"), the browser window shows up, says "TCP/IP" in the right lower corner, but the machine is hanged up (cannot move mouse or do anything else). This happens no matter whether I work via COM1 or COM2. Its a 66MHz 80486 PC with 16 MB RAM, running MS-DOS 5.0, with an "ELSA Microlink 28.8 TQV" modem on COM2, connected via ordinary (not ISDN) telephone line. Let me say thankyou if you could help me !!
