Constant,

After I sent the response to your initial post, I went to www.mapquest.com
(using 1.60b2) and was unable to pull up a map. I then went to Yahoo maps,
which uses maps from MapQuest and was also unable to pull up a map, but the
triangles for the 4 points of the compass did show up.

I was about to fire off a, "What the hell did you do to your website?" letter
to MapQuest, when I decided to try once more; this time on a machine using
1.48 (because of memory requirements) and, Voila!, Kingwood, TX, showed up!

I zoomed in and saved the GIF and can send it to you if you would like. I
think that I could have gone one more zoom, but I didn't know the detail that
you needed.

Michael P.: Apparently something was changed between 1.48 and 1.60b2 that is
affecting graphics. 1.48 is on a 586/133 machine with 8MB RAM, using a ram
disk, and disk cache; 1.60B2 in on a P75 machine with 40MB ram, no ram disk.

Can somebody name me a source where I can see/get street maps of USA cities
which are readable/visible with Arachne?
As a matter of fact, I would like to get a map of Kingwood TX.<<
