Dear List:
These newer versions of Arachne sound interesting with new
improvements, but I think I will stick with the 1.61 for now. I would be
interested in the "upgrade" option from list member if he wants to e-mail
me it. I used the e-mail option in the past to get Arachne and think I
will do so again if I want to.
Most sorry to hear of L.D. Bests' hard drive woes. I, like the
user in Arachne Digest #1177, use MS-DOS 6.22. However I use no
alternate OS and don't have several different drives like some. I guess
I'm a "straight booter" but I have Scandisk for DOS enabled in
autoexec.bat. I get some hard drives errors occassionally, but
defragmentation usually clears them up.
