Viewed with my copy of Insight/A164 only a minority of these characters
are displayed properly. The HTML version is identical.

  I would note that there have apparently been positive changes to 
either A164 or home.arachne.cz, as the prominent "Slu3/4by" now displays
as "sluzby" (no accents). All fractions seem to have disappeared from the
Arachne suite of pages.
  
 I have to say this discussion has been most informative-- and bewildering.
