Since Worldspy is shutting down and Freewwweb has filed for chapter 11
bankruptcy, I am looking for additional free ISP's that will work with
a DOS or Win3.1 computer. Someone on another list reported that they
were able to get FreeAtLast to work with Linux and others have reported
that it will work with a Win9x DUN, without using their software.
However, their software download contains the URL where you register
and establish your username and password.
If anyone downloads their software on a Win9x computer and registers,
please make note of the URL where you registered, and provide it to the
list.
They have instructions on their site for setting up a Win9x DUN, so I
don't understand why they force you to download and run their software to
get registered.
