Been there... Apparently this UU decoding problem only
exist in Arachne 1.62 and newer. Somehow the external UU
decoder never get called, or called with insufficient memory.
Well, No one else has reported this before, so I guess this
is just another system-dependant bug....
There's a work around, though:
* Copy the mail file (*.CNM) which contains the UUencoded
attachment as an *.UUE file (i.e. ARCHN164.UUE).
* Using a text editor, delete all lines *before* "begin"
and *after* "end".
* Extract the attachment from DOS prompt with UUDECODE.EXE:
C:> \arachne\uudecode archn164.uue
