Thanks for the reply and simple explanation.

This sounds like it would be nice-to-have stuff for some people.  As
for myself, I am perfectly satisfied with typing in wild cards to find
files, and I can simply type in "command" to get to the shell.  For me,
too many hot keys makes for too much stuff to remember and keep
straight.
