Now, its funny you should mention interleave... Both of the comps I use
have had the BIOS defaults restored... nuff said there.
like every box I've used, these both use type 47 drives; i.e. "User
Defined". Problem is that the CMOS setting has slots for more variables
than are printed on the drive's cases. I know these settings aren't
critical because I formatted the PacBel and watched as 631MB shrank to
98MB. "Damn", I thought, "it was compressed!". Wrong!! It actually
functioned that way, until I removed the cover for other reasons and saw
the writting on the case....
The point of all this is that I am suspicious of my CMOS settings.
Where can I learn more about them?
