Hello:
Net-Tamer will download all mail into a single concatenated file, and you
can break out the individual messages and read them after the manner of
a newsreader. While reading messages you have the option of saving the
individual messages, each to its own single file. Every time the program
accesses the POP3 server it will download a new batch of messages and append
them to the same single concatenated file. For sending mail with Net-Tamer,
you prepare individual single messages. When the messages are sent, a
sentmail archive is created that consists of one single concatenated file.
Does this sound like what you are looking for? If so, then check out
http://www.nettamer.net and download a functioning shareware version of
Net-tamer. Registering will eliminate the nag screens and provide you with
a few extra cool features. I paid for my version and I think it is well
worth it. $30.00 US.
Net-Tamer is a DOS program, and it will also work in a DOS box under Windoze.
I do not believe it is a wattcp type of program because it does not make use
of a WATTCP.CFG file.
All the best,
Sam Heywood
