Previous versions of Arachne used to occasionally present a diagnostic
"illegal xswap" msg with reference to a line of source code, and then
offer an option to reboot.
1.64 seems to do things differently. I frequently see a small msg in the
upper left corner of the screen saying "illegal xswap !", with nothing
further. When it happens, sometimes I can exit from Arachne. Other
times, attempting to exit causes the computer to lock up and I have to
reboot.
The "illegal xswap !" often appears when I press F8 to flush the cache.
Have not found any consistent conditions that would trigger it.
