I recently went to my old e-mail address and sent a few files to myself
(here) using W98/Outlook Express 4.
I pulled the "*.EML" files out onto the desktop, then right-clicked
them and chose "send to--> mail recipient".
When I viewed these e-mails using Insight, the msg body contained the
file path and name as automatically written by OE4. At the bottom of the
body were two attachments: an HTML version of the one-line message body,
and the attached file. The presentation was the same for a message with
attachment originally sent by K-Mail and forwarded in the above manner.
I have never seen this before. Does Insight display *all* HTML encoded
e-mails this way? In subjective terms, it seemed rather like viewing a
"multi-part" web page with frames turned off.
