Hi... first of all... what is a PS-printer?
But speaking of printers I have a problem:
both the printers i use have cp 437 installed but for internet
ISO-8859-1 would be a much better choice.
Is there a way to insert a small initialysing program into Arachne
to tell the printer to use ISO-8859-1? the printer can handle ISO but
must be told to do so.
I am able to make such a program (printer specific) but how to insert
it?
Another problem is printing grafical stuff.
To print images I use either "picture View" or "cshow" out of Arachne or
Windows 95 :-<
If a standard for graphical printing exists (miracles do happen) than
maybe we could perhaps devellop some driver for Arachne... or is this PS
I am now suggesting?
If so ... I have 3 PS printers
NEC 2200 * 24 pin * b/w
Xerox J5 * inkjet (sort of HP deskjet 500) b/w
HP 1200 * inkjet * color
Would be very nice to be able to use them on Arachne to print some
graphical stuff...
