Hi List, by now most of you know that I am not satisfied by my ISP and so I chose another ISP. As a trial I changed the dial-in number, the username and my password. Dialing was ok and Arachne homepage showed up. But... e-mail was not. (The provider did not provide SMTP and POP3 details... I'll ask for them) I typed in the old data and tried to e-mail: sending is OK... receiving email is not. I checked and double checked arachne.cfg and nothing seemed wrong. After carefully comparing with an old (renamed) arachne.cfg i discovered that the line "POP3password **********" was completely gone. Luckely I saved and renamed the old arachne.cfg otherwise I would never discovered this disappearing.... She is working OK after reinstalling the POP3password and in a few days I hope to go via the new (better?!?) ISP.
