Actually such a file name is not permissible under DOS: it looks like ten digits before .TMP. Maybe possible with Linux Arachne, though cryptic 8.3 file names are already bad enough. I remember all the cryptic 8.3 file names with DOSCIM (Compuserve). Ultimail Lite for OS/2 Warp used cryptic 8.3 file names including upper ASCII characters, and two or sometimes three files for each message.
