So far I have not experienced any lost clusters with 1.65. I use DR-DOS,
version 7.02. With all versions of Arachne I used to get lost clusters
frequently after experiencing a crash whenever I would use
"NWCACHE /DELAY=ON". Setting the delay to off solved the problem. I do
not consider this to be an Arachne-related problem because I would get
lost clusters after crashing with other DOS programs as well if the NWCACHE
delay was on.
When accessing various badly designed websites with 1.65, Arachne has crashed
several times for me and I had to do a cold re-boot. So far I have had no
lost clusters when using Arachne, but I have had lost clusters after
crashing with several other DOS internet applications, even with the cache
delay set to off, or even with NWCACHE not being loaded.
