AFAIK, 1NOL requires a suffix on the signon password, i.e. the three
lower case letters xms (passwordxms). They were recently
"reorganized" due to the withdrawal of one of their partner
companies and I do not have a local dialup number so I cannot test
this, but there has been much discussion of this on the FreeNET mail
list and I think this is all that is needed, after creating your
account, probably with a browser capable of secure connections. I
would like to hear from anybody with a local dialup number who tries
this.
