Actually, I was pretty sure yours was the same problem but now ?
Ok. Here is what happened with me: Arachne would connect and then almost
immediately give me the Error screen - counting down to redial.
I aborted (ESC), altEd and examined PPP.log. It showed the connect as done
up to starting PPP. So I typed EPPPD at the DOS prompt. It failed to load
and gave me the info regarding the error condition.
Try that.
