Yes the SAME ISP that is supposed to:
1- give access to the world wide web.... is OK
2- receive e-mail... is OK
3- send e-mail... not OK
4- I did not try newsgroups or chatting
To connect 1,2,3 (4?) you should use the same special telephone number,
it is not a free service. They are paid by the special telephone bill
also used for carrier select calling.

What is an RTM1 account? I pay them and am a registered customer for
their telephone services.

There is not much use in sending a message to one-self.. is it?

That's what is bothering me... I am not using the SMTP server from an
outsider account but a registered user using their special phonenumber
and giving password and username.

All the details they give you are for using M$ products like expres and
outlook... and if you do what they ask you... then go to:
http://setup.onetelnet.nl/ and they will cofigure YOUR PC.
Do you like that... someone else changing and bumbling in your PC?
Well I don't!
But I tried to configure Outlook and connect to Onetelnet. And activated
the password authentification... but no luck !
Relaying *still* denied !!
Well, I am a bit fed up with this ISP!
Why am I trying anyway... much easier to take another ISP.
But maybe more ISP's will follow and than we need an answer to this SMTP
nonsence.
Anyway I still use the old ISP... slow but working (sometimes).
