Perhaps you can use the configuration files from your Pygmy installation. resolv.conf should be in the /etc directory (just copy it to /etc/resolv.conf in BasicLinux). Have a look in Pygmy's /etc/ppp directory. Hopefully, there you will find options, pap-secrets and a chat script. Just copy them into BasicLinux. BTW the chat script does not have to be called ppp-on-dialer; it just has to match the name specified in /etc/ppp/options.
