Most telemarketers here are employed or contracted by companies that never had
me as a customer or donor. Selling databases with postal addresses and
telephone numbers, email addresses too, is big business here.
Some emailing lists allow posts by nonmembers, which allows spam to slip
through. On the Linux-X11 list is a spam to sell jewelry with a WWW URL,
totally unrelated to Linux ox X Window System.
Speaking of big spams, I just got one of 1893 lines including headers, and am
not sure who to complain to:
