I managed to sign up on 1nol and successfully login using arachne 1.60 tonight. Used a local library computer with Netscape to sign up via the "http://www.1nol.com/central" URL. Somehow, in the past, I had got it into my head to enter a complete email address when the sign-up routine asked for "email name" (user name ?). Anyway, I just entered "ah255" without any @ or following info. 1nol went away to do its registration thing, then the link went down, then I got kicked off the machine (15 minute time limit when there is a line for the free public machine). Tonight, I logged in with Arachne with no problem whatsoever (kind of slow response time, though). No email confirmation of registration occured or seemed to be needed. Go Figure !
