I am running 1.66 with the 256 color core APM installed pretty much
with no serious problems. My system is 486DX4/100 w/36 meg RAM. I
just downloaded/installed 1.66 on my wife's Packard Bell 486DX2/66
w/12 meg RAM. I think the 256 color core.exe is great. I would use
the MMEM core.exe, but, the toolbars do not work with it. They are
visisble, but not working. Oh, MSDOS 6.xx on both machines.
