Here is a workaround:

Use the "@list" feature, where "list" is the name of a list of email
recipients.  On the "To:" line simply address your message to "@list", but
without the quotations.  You could use any other name for your list, and
address your message to @members or @friends, for example, where the word
following the "@" symbol is the name of a list of intended email recipients.
