I have an old HP OmniBook 530 (486sx-33 / 4Mb ram / 130 Mb hdd / b&w
LCD screen PCcard modem and no flop) with DOS on it. A almost loose
any hope to do something useful with this PC. I installed Arachne on
this box. And it works fine! But now I have some questions.
- Have anybody the same PC with Arachne?
- While trying to fit in 640k memory PCcard drivers, Arachne and pppd
I found that I have no room for mouse :( The smallest mouse driver I
have is 16,880 in size. And when I load this mouse driver I still have
the memory lack (almost 4k!!!). If anybody have small driver for
serial mouse (com1) - send it for me, pls!
- I am using Arachne for DOS. This question for Linux users. Is it
possible to start several copies of Arachne in Linux (and let them use
dingle ppp connection)?
