EPPPD that Arachne uses is *very* unstable when it comes to CHAP/PAP,
probably (no offense intended) because most of the source come from Linux
were CHAP/PAP haven't been a big hit yet AFAIK. And the original autor
(Toni Lopez) never even tried the PAP/CHAP abbilities AFAIK.
