Subject: Make more room on C:\ -> this increases "Virtual Memory"
Hi Iain;
delete as many files from your C:\ ( Main drive ) as you possibly can.
-this increases something called Virtual Memory which will help get your
problem DOS program(s) to run. the more free space on this; your HD; the
better/or your problem DOS program will run
btw; add ":" or "rem" and "DEVICEHIGH" to the beginning of lines in your
AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS, which also btw, are located in C:\ ( Main
drive or HD ) and,or ( C:\ or root directory ) using any text editor...
I type: C:\EDIT AUTOEXEC.BAT and C:\EDIT CONFIG.SYS which uses dos's edit
command/editor to adjust these files.
if you fooled around/installed *server*(not browser) software on your
machine... don't : or rem the TZ line/variable in your autoexec.bat
good luck and I hope this helps :)
Andy
