I've got two questions.
First: I have just resigned my present job for another one, amd one of the
unpleasant side effects is that I am going to lose the email account I am
using right now. I'd like to -unsubscribe- from the list than -subscribe- to
it again, using a new email account.
Which is the most convenient way to do this?
Second: For a while I've been trying to connect to my ISP using Trumpet
Winsock v. 3.0. It usually works, with most of the applications except
Netscape 3.04. I use a 386DX/33 with 8MB RAM. It also reports lots of comm
errors (overrun).
On the other hand, Arachne logs into my ISP without any problems. Also I am
able to get the fastest speed from my modem, especially when using Insight
(close to 4kB/sec for my 33600 modem).
Can anyone recommend same good values for MTU, MSS, TCP RWIN etc.?
Do I also have to set the Trumpet's communication speed with the modem to
33600? Can I use higher baud rates? From what I have experienced , setting
up a higher baud rate will lead to more comm errors.
