Well, I copied stuff from my backup and couldn't get it to work any which
way I tried, so I simply deleted everything except my archived email
(several folders here) and copied over from my old copy.  I had tested
earlier the backup copy in a separate directory, so I knew that it
worked.  Everything works find now in the old directory.  Strange.
