<quote> The official site for the summer Olympic games, http://www.olympics.com, is embroiled in a lawsuit over handicapped accessibility. In 1999, Bruce Maguire, a blind Australian man lodged a complaint against the site. As of this writing, the site still does not meet the requirements for a disabled assistant browser to read it properly. </quote> <quote> FOR SALE: ALT tags for your site. Cost: $2 million, backordered with 12 months delivery. That's IBM's estimate to make their Olympic.com Web site more accessible. </quote> I took a look at http://www.way-out-west.co.uk after it was mentioned in the e-commerce section of a Sunday newspaper. The main frame was crippled by missing a dash from the closing JS comment tag. I haven't yet received a reply from the designer. I'm also finding SiteMeter webstats JS a frequent culprit in crippling pages. Regards, Jake
