I'm attempting to do research within the Library of Congress card
catalog database.
Given multiple keywords and values, such a search can take a couple of
minutes or more.
I am connecting with the URL, and the search data appears to be passed
to the search engine. However, after less than two minutes Arachne is
displaying the "cannot connect" error page and terminating contact.
That means, among other aggravations, I have to re-enter all the various
search parameters for a number of different search criteria... only to
have Arachne "time out" on me again.
Is there a default "time out" for waiting to receive data, and if so how
do I bypass it???
