The latest version of BasicLinux is now available.

It now includes setkeycodes/loadkmap, fetchmail, and
a new version of the "links" browser. BasicLinux
still runs on a 386 with 8meg RAM.

Of particular interest to Arachne users is that
BasicLinux 1.2 now has 1.4meg free on its filesystem
(after removing the "links" browser). I'm hoping that
this will be enough space for Arachne (including all
its support files and SVGAlib). I am very keen to put
Arachne in BasicLinux. Can any of you Linux Arachne
users tell me whether 1.4meg will be enough space?
(I am unable to run Linux Arachne myself because all
my systems use libc5, and Arachne does not currently
support this library.)

Cheers,
Steven
