Bob,
I can't tell you how long a "fix" will take, because the problem is
apparently with your setup ... not the page. I've never had the problem
with the page which you mention -- graphics page or text page. And I've
been using Arachne going back well before 1.4x. I currently have
changed to 1.66, so that's a lot of versions where I don't have the
problem.
What system do you run Arachne on, what video settings do you have, etc
etc etc ???
For once *I* get to say, "Hey, I can't duplicate it so it must be your
setup." <G>
