Suddenly, for no apparent reason, InSight has gone blind!

I tried to move files last night from one folder to another; it couldn't
create the index files. I checked everything in every cfg I could find,
and it still refused to create the $idx$mes.idx for only two of the
folders. I renamed the folders, removing the apostrophe in their names
which had never bothered InSight before, and lo ... InSight could then
create indexes and I could move files between folders, trash or
whatever.

I did some heavy downloading last night [Thanks, Dev] for a friend who
is surviving with Win95. Did some cleanup work on a few today, and then
wanted to go back and re-download one that was contaminated. While at
it I decided to send a reply.

InSight refused. I couldn't find reply.dgi

Now, because of the problems last night, the first thing I did today was
a virus scan [although all I was downloading were text files & a couple
of zips]. F-Prot gave me a clean bill of health.

But here's InSight activing up again.

AND it wasn't just this version last night. 1.67 wouldn't work either!

I haven't tried to "reply" using 1.67 yet. I'm almost afraid to.

So far I can still read my mail.

Anyone have any ideas what it could possibly be?
