Found the problem:
The server send the .PNG files as "text files" or "unknown". So Arachne
deals with them as "text". If you try to right click on the PNG image
after you try to download the page, you will see its contents.
(if you only see the word "PNG", hit R to reload, and then you'll see.)
PNG support works for Arachne. Here's another PNG site that works:

I think that the problem with mommydoll site is that Netscape and IE
probebly deal with a file not according to its http "tag". This, by
the way, is not good, because by this the browser cover up mistakes
that the webmaster should fix..
