Hello Neil:
In a very recent post, Jake amply dissertated upon some technical
differences. These technical differences notwithstanding, I have found
that in most cases the images may be viewable with almost any browser or
with any graphics file viewing program capable of displaying JPGs simply
by changing the name of the file extension.
